According to the chefs practising in the Indian restaurant in Terrigal, “Indian Cuisine is the most aromatic, luxurious, healthy and distinctively tasty food in the world. There are so many diverse dishes that people like to order each time they visit an Indian restaurant in Sydney. One of such dishes is the ‘Tandoori Chicken’. The influence of this dish on the taste buds of Indians is so much that even the vegetarian people are dying to taste it for once at least.”

What does the Tandoori Chicken taste like?

No better word other than ‘Heavenly’ can best describe the taste of the tandoori chicken. It is one of the most tender and juiciest varieties of chicken that makes the dish enlivened by marinating it in so many protein-providing ingredients. The ingredients used to marinate the chicken are specially harvested and are handpicked to make sure that the authenticity is not at all compromised.

What to do to obtain the succulently juicy chicken?

Two secret magical ingredients can help you cook succulent tasty tandoori chicken at home:

  • Greek Yogurt
  • Lemon Spiced Marinade

Which other ingredients must be put in the tandoori chicken?

The tandoori chicken will lack the awesome flavours which make it the favourite of all if the following ingredients are missed out:

  • Garam Masala
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Ground coriander and Ginger

The way each chef marinates the chicken is different. No matter whether it is paneer, chicken, beef, pork or shrimps, there is a separate marinating method for each of them. Now, our readers might be thinking about why different marinating methods are used? It is because of the distinctive absorption capabilities of different meats. The right kid of the marinade is responsible for making you relish each bite at the end.

How is the marinated chicken cooked?

There are customarily so many pieces of equipment with the help of which the chicken can be cooked. To make sure the authentic taste is being experienced, it is important to make use of the tandoor. It is the kind of clay oven that is one of the traditional methods to cook chicken.

From where has the tandoori chicken originated?

The name of the dish is taken from the equipment in which it is usually cooked and that is tandoor about which we have mentioned above. Earlier the tandoors were only being used to cook the nans, Rotis and the other kind of flatbreads.

Which kind of spices are usually used in tandoori chicken?

On having a single bite of the chicken, we’ll realise how flavoursome this particular dish is. One of the main kinds of spice because of which this dish is incomplete is Garam Masala.

Did you know?

Garam Masala is the combination of the following kinds of herbs and spices:

  • Cumin
  • Coriander
  • Black Pepper

Tips to start your successful restaurant

Tip 1: Do proper planning and keep your intent right

To set up your restaurant, you must go in the right direction and stay on that path for ultimate success. For that success, it is important that you carefully invest time and make enough money. It might seem harder but as you prepare for the same it will make your restaurant a successful journey to go with ease. Make sure that you create a space for them which makes your customers feel welcomed and the design should be eye-catching.

Tip 2: Make your business plan with the best foundation

Yes! You need to have a detailed business plan for that success. Here, you can take help from the experts so that you can go in the right direction. With that living document, you will know where your business will grow and how the progress is measured. Doing so will help to prepare a feasible plan. In addition, make sure that you do proper market research, and this way you can do better against the competitors.

Tip 3: Marketing is Important

How Has Indian Food Being Impacted By The Touch Of The Modernity?

Loading

If you want a suggestion on which cuisine you should consider for dine-in, then we would only suggest Indian cuisine. This meal fits all the taste needs of all the members of the family. Indian restaurants in Sydney have various food items which have different spice levels and saltiness. We have received many feedbacks from the people regarding the services at the Indian restaurants. Each of the feedback demanded flexibility in the dishes as per their taste. So the Indian restaurant in Terrigal somehow brought this feature to their restaurant. Each dish is prepared fresh when the order hits-in. Also, the customers are asked about their specifications about the herbs and the spices.

So as you might have figured out, today’s topic is going to be all about the modern but desi twist in Indian food.

THE DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES

There are a lot of Indian dishes which are fried like the Samosa, Pakode and the Kachoris. So if you are a diet freak then you can ask for the baked version of these dishes. This means less oil will be used in the cooking and the calories will quintessentially be lowered.

THE SPICES AND THE HERBS

When it is about giving a modern twist to Indian food, then the spices and herbs can play a critical role in ameliorating the taste. If We have a glance at the early Indian food, then we would come to know how basic masalas were being used in that. But immediately after the western fusion came in, then the use of the spices or herbs like oregano, chilli flakes and the mixed -herbs powders, soy sauce and red chilli sauce etc started impacting Indian food.

THE CHANGE IN THE UTENSILS

Today, almost every household has non-stick utensils. Even if we consider the restaurants, then they also use the new generation utensils. If we compare these utensils with those which were being used in the early times, then we will come to know the difference. It will be easy to differentiate between the taste of food cooked in traditional utensils and those cooked in modern utensils.

THE SERVING STYLES

Earlier the food was served on banana leaves or with utensils made of copper or silver But with the passage in time, people started admiring the serving being done in the ceramic utensils.

THE CULTURAL ETHICS

Although cultural ethics are supposed to be untampered. But everything has to be transformed with time. As far as cultural ethics are concerned, then initially the people used to have the food with their hands. But with the interference of the other countries in the Indian cuisines has led to the use of spoons and forks while smiling at the Indian dishes.

FINAL COMMENTS

We would like to have your feedback on this blog post. Please tell us whether you like traditional Indian cuisine or you would prefer eating it with a modern twist.
