  • Selenium

Taking a combination of essential minerals and vitamins along with seafood will be beneficial for your health.

 What are the reasons people avoid the consumption of fish?

  • Safety concern

As we know some fish contain mercury which can prove fatal to our health. Its consumption can affect the brain health and nervous system. This is the reason people avoid eating it so that their health is not affected greatly. In such cases, you should avoid the consumption of fish with high mercury levels like Grouper, King Mackerel, Swordfish, and Ahi Tuna.

  • Sustainability Concerns

Another reason is to protect the oceans and this is the reason people only have small varieties like shrimp, salmon, tilapia, canned tuna, and pollock. So, here what you can do is eat other types of seafood to protect the oceans.

  • Cooking problem

To prepare fish with perfection like a restaurant, you must have everything at your place. Most importantly, you need to learn how you can make it with perfection. If you are not aware of it or do not have the necessary tools then it might make it difficult to do everything. In such cases, people avoid preparing it at home.
